Kathmandu Coast to Coast Media Accreditation
All media attending the Kathmandu Coast to Coast multi-sport event must apply for accreditation.
A small targeted group of media with a national and international reach are hosted while other approved accredited media are authorised to attend the event in an official capacity.
Accredited media receive an accreditation pass that allows access to the following areas:

Work Areas
Finish line chute areas – designated media interview and work areas
Media Briefing
Pre-event media briefing
Aerial
Media helicopter flights (a safety briefing must be attended on Thursday)*
Access
Access to key parts of the course (strict guidelines must be followed in regard to road closures, cycling, mountain and river stages)
Parking
Access to media/sponsors car parking
Work Areas
Access to media work areas at key locations during the event; Klondyke Corner and New Brighton finish line (includes access to event wifi)
*Helicopter access is not guaranteed. Priority given to media with vision and imagery as a focus.
2025 Media Accreditation is closed.
All media attending the Kathmandu Coast to Coast multisport event must apply for accreditation by completing our online accreditation form before 26 January 2025.
Once received, applications will be considered, and you will be notified whether you have been granted media accreditation for the Kathmandu Coast to Coast. Accredited media receive build-up communication from the event's Media Manager, including media releases and media leads.
Media accreditation is granted subject to your acceptance of any terms and conditions relating to those listed below and any additional terms described in the media manual, which will be distributed before the event.
Terms and Conditions
- Completion of the application form does not guarantee acceptance.
- Accreditation may be revoked if your conduct does not meet the expected standards as communicated to you by the event organisers or race officials before and during the event.
- The Kathmandu Coast to Coast may require media attending the event to demonstrate that they have a minimum of $1 million public liability cover whilst working at the event. By applying for media accreditation for the Coast to Coast, you will be able to provide evidence of such cover if it is requested.
- All accredited media must wear their high-res bibs and/or lanyards. Media must respect all other road users. The competitors’ and public safety is paramount. The actions of the media are a reflection of the event.
- Media must not abuse their media profile or ignore the road rules. Media do not have any extra privileges or right of way. However, where possible, officials will make concessions for media and sponsor vehicles.
